Oh, hello there Ulduar

After the (ridiculously) long wait, 3.1 finally showed it's face on live last week. To the pleasure of some, and dismay of others, it showed everyone that the bosses here weren't purple filled piƱata's that people had grown accustomed to in Naxx.

So, what happened you asked? We went in with high hopes, and downed Fame Leviathan and Razorscale shortly. Then, the remainder of the night, as well as for the next day, we might of well bashed our heads against a wall. Ignis was far too overtuned, and XT-002's bugged trash was not despawned for us 'till later (Not to say we didn't have some interesting ways to deal with it.)

When the XT trash that barred our way was removed, we delved even deeper into ancient city, stumbling only on (the pull of) Auriaya, and then taking out half of the Watchers.

Stay tuned, for this week is bound to be promising now that we've got our feet wet with most of the encounters.

[Heroic: Glory of the Winnars!]

To finish out our heroic raiding achievements we decided to split into two raids of 20 people each. It was Red vs Blue in an epic speed battle through Naxx and Malygos. Red came out on top with Blue coming in close behind. Gratz to everyone who got their Black Proto-Drakes.

What's there left to do when there isn't any encounters left in the game to overcome? Why, everything there is without any errors of course. A big congratulations to Warfare for arguably the hardest achievement in the game: having 25 people pay attention for 3 hours.

So...What now?

After becoming bored of farming all 25 man content week in and out, Warfare set their sights on the one last encounter we had yet to lay our claim. We went in sunday to get a feel for it, and spent a little time getting our feet wet before some of our members retired for the night. Knowing what we'd require to down this, we tweaked our strategy, and downed the big guy after a number of close attempts. Congrats to Baso for to the mount, and to Warfare for the kill. Now, we patiently (or, not so patiently once the the PTR stabilizes) wait for Ulduar to see if anything there proves more challenging.

Also, it would seem we discovered Basolish's TRUE epic flight form.
